Our senior executive is Ian Burns. Ian is a fellow of both The Institute of Chartered Accountants and The Securities Institute as well as a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Planners. He worked at director level with trust companies in Guernsey, Jersey, Switzerland and Mauritius over the last twenty years. More recently he has held a role at a specialist fund administration company where he has focussed on company secretarial, corporate governance and accounting matters.
He holds or has recently held non executive roles in listed and unlisted property companies, investment management companies, captive insurance companies, an infrastructure company and a property and hotel group.
Ian is a former Chairman of the Guernsey Association of Trustees, a member of the STEP Guernsey Committee and a regular speaker at conferences.
